Finally got registered for the forums. Are there any updates to the 3.0 integration? Are you guys planning on using a hook for the forum integration? Would be nice if it were a hook in which you could create a side panel for "whose chatting".

We will do our best to make the stats available by a hook for IPB 3.0 as opposed to a ssi for eariler IPB versions.

Thanks Fredric, do you know if the current version of flasherize will work with 3.0, or should I wait for an update before I install it?

Fredrick,
Is there any time frame when you think flasherize will be updated for IPB 3.0?
Thanks

We have been looking at IPB 3.0 integration and it is not an easy fix. The IPB team does not have any developer documentation for version 3.0 yet so I'm sad to say it will take some time for us to get the integration with IPB 3.0 to work.
My estimate is that it will however be implemented within the next couple of months. And we will make this integration an application installable through the IPB admin interface.

can I get the non integrated version now, then have an upgrade to the integrated version when it is available? Or will I have to pay the full integrated price?
MY forum needs a chat again.
thanks tom

You can either buy the integrated version now and just run it in standard mode, or purchase an upgrade when we finish the IPB 3.0 integration plugin. You will just need to pay the difference in price, not an entirely new package of course, we'll handle that over email if you go that route.

IPB 3.0:s new architecture has proven to much work for us. We have decided to forgo IPB 3.0 support until our new series 2.0 which will use a different architecture. Release of 2.0 is planned for early 2011.
