How many chatters are allowed in a room and how many total?  I have dedicated server.
When banning or kicking users is it timed or permanent or both?
Outgrew my tufat and looking for a new one.  It only allows 50 in one room.  UGH!!!
Thanks.  Looks like a good chat.

The current version doesn't have any limits to the number of users in a room, or in total.

Performance will vary with your server's performance, most notably you will need to have a lot of memory to be able to handle many simultaneous PHP processes, so the way you have your PHP handling setup will make a huge difference as to many user's you can service. Also, if you can compile a PHP binary with as few components as possible you will be able to have more PHP processes running at any one time and ergo handle more chatters.

Currently the kick feature for admins in the chat software just kicks the user.

If you want to ban a users you have to log in to the Control Panel (ChatRoomACP) and change the user's status from 1 to 0. (changing it from 1 to 2 makes them an administrator).

If you are in integrated mode versus vBulletin for example then the user's status in vB will determine wether the user is banned or not.

It's at a good price point for it's features! There are many other solutions, but they all have their limitations as well.
