How to limit number of people allowed into room

Is there a way to limit the number of people allowed into a chat room?  We are dealing with memory constraints, and want to avoid crippling the server?  Thanks in advance for your advice.

There is no support in the current version, but it will likely be added in version 1.19.

I personally feel that it is high time that we device a method to limit the number of people allowed in a chat room. Such a method will be extremely helpful if the server is having problems with memory. I am delighted to note that it will be added in version 1.19. I would like to know when the new version will be released.
