can this chat work with joomla 1.5??

There is no user integration module, but you can run it in standalone mode - the user has to register in the chat then to be able to chat.

You can user the Standard versions then since you don't need user integration. Basically you would add a "wrapper" page and point that to chatroom_fixed.html that is part of the package.

I am of the view that it is possible to chat with Joomla 1.5. But as pointed out by Frederic there is no user integration module. I really wonder what he has meant by saying that you need to add a “wrapper” page and point that to the chat room. I hope that he will clarify it.

Joomla has a page type from what I know that creates an iframe where you can specify an URL. If you add the link to your Chatroom there the chatrrom would be visible inside your Joomla site. But no user integration though.
