After installing I try to launch the Admin Controls and I get a "...index.php file is corrupt" message |

unzip the package and reupload the ChatRoom/ChatRoomACP/index.php file in Binary format. |

After installing I get a message telling me an ioncube loader file is required |

On older versions, ionCube must be installed on your server in order for the script to work. If you are unsure if it is, point your browser to the ioncube-loader-helper.php file in the ioncube folder for instructions. |

I can get the actual chatroom to launch, but after I login it just hangs there and never progresses |

Make sure, if you are using the forum integration version, that you put the correct database prefix in during the install. If you are unsure, you can check the config.php file in the ChatRoom root folder. If you are not using database prefixes, blank that field out in the config.php file. Also, make sure the chat is installed in /ChatRoom folder. |

How do I integrate the chat room with my forum? |

If you did not select the free forum integration package when you ordered, you can download the package for your specific board software from your Members Area.
Once you download the proper package, unzip it and follow the instructions in the readme file that comes with the package.

How do I change the graphics? |
|
You can change any of the images in Flasherize. The images are located in the "images" folder and you can create your own as long as you keep the same file names and dimensions then replace the default ones with your new images. We do not provide any of the default images in .psd format. |

How do I change the smilies? |

Add your new smilies to the "images/smilies" folder and then edit the "smilie.xml" file located in the ChatRoom root folder. |

How do I add bad words to the filter? |
|
Simply add your banned words to the "badwords.txt" file located in the ChatRoom root folder. |

How do I download chat logs? |
|
From the Chatroom ACP, select your date range and enter "Export".
The file will be saved as a text file in the ChatRoom/ChatRoomACP/transcriptions folder that you will have to access from your server file manager.
